About me

My name is Chris Bolton and I am a professional tradesman with city and guilds qualifications, I provide all manner of plumbing and heating services for domestic and commercial customers.

My company is based on the belief that my customers' needs are of the utmost importance which is why I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat customers and referrals.

 

I specialize in the installation and repair of pipes which are used to carry water, gas, sewage, and wastewater. I repair breaks and replace old piping, unclog toilets, fix leaky faucets, or check on old pipes which may be warped or leaking, plus I always leave my work area clean and tidy when I’ve finished.

Terms and Conditions

1. The Company reserves the right to refuse or decline work at its own discretion. Where the Company agrees to carry out work for the Customer we will designate an operative we deem competent to complete the job. 2. COST. The total charge to the Customer shall consist of the cost of materials supplied and used by the Company and the amount of time spent by the operative carrying out the work. All maintenance jobs will be charged in accordance with the companies’ current hourly rates and cost of materials. Installations will be charged at the quoted price which will not be negotiable. All charges exclude VAT. 3. Where a written estimate has been provided for the Customer the estimated price will only be valid for 28 days and thereafter the estimate may be revised in the following circumstances: — A) If after submission of the estimate there is an increase in the price of materials.B) If after submission of the estimate the Customer instructs the Company to carry out additional works not included in the estimated price.C) If after submission of the estimated price it is discovered that further work or alteration is required to meet current building, gas or water regulations.4. Material supply. Any materials supplied by the company will be justified through an invoice of materials from the supplier. To remain productive we ask that:A) In the event that an item has to be brought from a specific supplier we ask that collection is pre arranged. To ensure time is kept to a minimum.B) If the collection time is likely to exceed 45 minutes the customer may be charged an additional feesubject to circumstance. 5. Invoices are to be paid by the customer before jobs have been completed. In the event that a customer is unable to pay for the materials supplied, we ask that you inform the company and specify when you will be able to make payment.6. Company accepts no liability for meeting deadlines if materials have arrived late at the fault of the suppliers. 7. Payment for any jobs must be made within 30 days of receiving an invoice.8. To ensure that we receive payment for work carried out we insist that the Customer shall accept sole liability when paying the agreed upon price for work undertaken. 9. If the Customer cancels their instructions prior to any work being carried out they are liable for any related expenditure on the Company’s behalf this includes cost of materials and any occurring delivery charges. 10. If the Customer is not completely satisfied with the work carried out by the company then the Customer should contact us within 30 days. This will give us the opportunity to both inspect, and carry out any necessary remedial works where appropriate. 11. Current regulations state that no company may carry out works on installations of inferior systems that do not meet the required standards, and may be deemed hazardous. In these cases, the former installations will need to be brought up to standard prior to any works taking place.
